Seussical, Jr. Auditions!

Sign up HERE to audition for Seussical, Jr., the fall Wyoming Middle School Musical!  All 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th graders are eligible to audition.  Auditions will be held on Tuesday, August 26 and Wednesday, August 27 from 4:15 p.m. - 6:15 p.m.  Students need only to attend one 15 minute session on one of the days.  The production will be Friday, October 10 and Saturday, October 11.  Rehearsals will be Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 4:15 p.m.-6:15 p.m. (although most kids will not be required to attend all rehearsals). Students will not be permitted to stay at school between the time of dismissal and the start of rehearsal as there is no supervision - other arrangements must be made by request of the administration.   In order to be cast you must be available for the audition, all rehearsals to which you are called (including every day during tech week), and for both shows.  If you are not able to commit to that schedule, you will not be cast. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check-in, but students are NOT permitted to stay after school until the start of auditions as there is no supervision for them (!).  Students MUST bring the attached Audition Form (completed!) with them to the audition or they will not be permitted to audition. The form must be completed and signed by a parent or guardian, and it must list all rehearsal conflicts in detail. A cast list will be posted on the blog later in the week on this blog.  IF your student is cast, rehearsals will start on Tuesday, September 2.  A mandatory parent meeting will be on Wednesday, September 3 at 6 p.m.  The $25 donation and optional DVD money will be collected at that time, a final rehearsal schedule will be distributed, and opportunities to volunteer will be explained.
